Last year, my father bought a lovely pet for me. She has four white paws and a white and yellow tail. She has two small ears, two green eyes and eight whiskers on her face. Her name is Sally and she is one year old.
Do you know what it is? A cat? Yes, it is a cat. She has very short fur and she is quite small. She weighs about 2 kilograms. She is usually very friendly and quiet. We never frighten her or pull her tail or ears. She likes walking around me and playing with me.
If she is hungry, she will miaow. Usually, she eats food from a tin, but her favorite food is fish. She likes juice if it is not too cold. She likes to chase and catch mice and sometimes she plays with butterflies. Sally often plays with balls and pieces of string. She does not like dogs and she hates the rain. She likes sitting on the sofa and watching TV.
Sally is a very good friend, but she is quite lazy! She never worries because we take good care of her. She is always a happy cat.

當(dāng)今天劍橋英語考試的鈴聲響起時(shí)，我感覺全身都已經(jīng)不是自己的了，像是換了一個(gè)人的身體一樣。我的手不停的顫抖著，筆尖也在顫抖，在桌子上不斷地留下來回摩擦的聲音。為什么我對(duì)英語考試這么害怕呢？因?yàn)槲覌寢尳o我要求的是必須認(rèn)真對(duì)待，爭(zhēng)取考到100分。但是我對(duì)自己很沒有“信心”，所以心里十分的擔(dān)心。一直想著該怎么答題？要怎么才答得好，考到一。百分。就在這時(shí)考試的鈴聲響起了，我之前在腦袋里記到的知識(shí)，突然間一下子就飛走了。當(dāng)我正在想怎么才能將那些知識(shí)找回來的時(shí)候？老師開始念聽力了，我十分無奈的跟著老師的思路走，生怕有半點(diǎn)遺漏。
過了一會(huì)兒，老師終于把聽力講完了，我感覺渾身都松了一口氣兒，但這還沒完，老師緊接著說：“同學(xué)們，這次考試要認(rèn)真對(duì)待，今天的題很難一定要認(rèn)真考試哦�！崩蠋煵徽f這句話還好，但老師一說，我就感覺渾身都不自在了，感覺就像望子成龍的那些媽媽一直逼迫孩子學(xué)習(xí)，在我的心里，老師分明是在說一定要考好，不準(zhǔn)考差。
我嚇的渾身哆嗦，開始回憶我以前學(xué)過的知識(shí)，但是墻上那鐘表的嘀嗒聲一直在困擾著我，我想起了這個(gè)，又因?yàn)榈未鹇�，忘了那個(gè)，一直這樣重復(fù)了幾次。我有點(diǎn)不耐煩了，我心想算了吧？直接做吧！至少比干坐在這里，思考我以前學(xué)過的知識(shí)要好吧！我拿起了筆開始面對(duì)試卷，但是看到第一道題我就傻眼了，這道題要用原形和ing進(jìn)行式加到語句上面，但是在這道題目上，老師根本就沒講這種情況，這可怎么辦呢？我無可奈何，只好拿出我的點(diǎn)兵點(diǎn)將大法，但是可惜這是道填空題我沒能用上我的點(diǎn)兵點(diǎn)將大法，這使我腦袋都大了一號(hào)，沒辦法，我只好垂頭喪氣地往后做，可是越往后做我的心情就越煩躁，心情也就越忐忑，有很多題，明明在上課的時(shí)候，我都聽到過，但是我就是一時(shí)想不起來了。
我心想算了吧，隨便猜個(gè)答案都填上去吧！我真要這么做的時(shí)候，我卻看到桌子上，不知誰用鋼筆在上面刻了一句話，人可以被毀滅，但不能被打敗，這一句話，可能是誰在上課的時(shí)候無聊隨便刻的，但是他卻成為了我這次考試的'救命稻草，我轉(zhuǎn)念一想，是啊，我不能被打敗，我必須冷靜下來盡自己的最大努力做下去，就這樣時(shí)間又嘀嗒嘀嗒的過去了。不一會(huì)兒時(shí)間就到了，我垂頭喪氣的準(zhǔn)備走上去交上試卷，但是我又想起了剛才可在桌子上那句話，就算我做的不好，我也要做出，我好像做得很好的樣子，于是我馬上抬頭挺胸，挺著腰板走了上去。放學(xué)時(shí)我看到老師改完試卷才走，唉，才考了96分。
后來我把這件事情告訴了媽媽，本以為媽媽會(huì)大吵我一頓，但是她卻夸獎(jiǎng)我在關(guān)鍵的時(shí)刻沒有放棄這一項(xiàng)做的很好。暫時(shí)一兩次考試不好沒什么關(guān)系，但是必須要在你受挫折的時(shí)候，堅(jiān)強(qiáng)起來！堅(jiān)持起來！那才是你該做的！

As we know, there are so many classical architectures in Italy. I am an amateur architecter. But I could only study those great works in the book or on the internet. Now that I have the opportunity to go there, I could observe them in a direct way. I think that will be totally a different expience.
Also a football fan as I am, I am eager to watch the best football match on the spot. I am looking forward to applause for the stars together with other fans. If possible, I will be lucky enough to get the signature of my favorite stars.
Tired after sightseeing and shouting at the stadium, I would like to lie on the beach of mediterranean sea. It is the most beautiful sea shore in the world. Playing sand with children, drinking juice on the beach, and surfing on the waves are all my dream.
There are so many countries in the world, but Italy is my favorite. I could visit the great architectures, watch football matches, and enjoy the scene of mediterranean sea. Maybe two weeks time is too short for me.

Experts say that these two trends are connected in three ways. First, over the past few decades television sets have appeared in almost every home. Second, films very quickly become available on video, and can be shown on the TV screen. Third, it is becoming more expensive to make films, and so the prices of cinema seats are rising.
However, this does not mean the death of the movie industry. There will always be people who prefer to go out to see a film. This is because no matter how good a TV film or video is, it can never be as entertaining as a film shown on the big screen.
Film is giving way to TV. According to an investigation made on the number of film-goers and TV-watchers in a ten-year period , at the end of 1985, the number of film-goers declined sharply to about 15 thousand which accounts for only some 20 percent of what in 1975, the heyday of films. This decline, no doubt, owes to the steadily increasing number of TV-watchers in the same decade.

Faced with this situation, people will undoubtedly have different opinions. Some believe that it benefits the social and economic development since driving force is often derived from the gap. In other words , the gap inspires people and gives a push to advancement. Other speak of its side effect: income gap is often the root of social unrest and also contrary to our country’s principle.
From my point of view, while it is true that the income may stimulate the social development to some extent, it causes trouble as well. An income gap that is too wide for most people to bear can neither contribute to the stability of a country nor promote its economic development. Therefore , while we are advocating the rapid development of our country , we should tolerate the narrow income gap but narrow the wide one.
