事情的起因是爸爸出差到北京，給我?guī)Щ亓艘慌_(tái)讀書(shū)郎英語(yǔ)同步讀書(shū)機(jī)。我立刻被它漂亮的外表吸引住了，因?yàn)樗褚慌_(tái)高檔的'筆記本電腦。打開(kāi)讀書(shū)機(jī)，左邊是音標(biāo)，分為元音、輔音；右邊是26個(gè)英語(yǔ)字母。最大的好處是它可以下載我上課用的PEP教材。媽媽讓我打開(kāi)英語(yǔ)課本，翻到第1頁(yè)，把讀書(shū)機(jī)中的頁(yè)碼調(diào)至相同頁(yè)碼，我再用那神奇的信號(hào)筆一點(diǎn)，點(diǎn)到哪兒，讀書(shū)機(jī)就發(fā)出標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的讀音，點(diǎn)第二遍時(shí)它就譯出這個(gè)單詞的中文含義，真是太神奇了！
剛開(kāi)始幾天，我每天一放學(xué)就抱著這臺(tái)讀書(shū)郎，漸漸地新鮮勁也就過(guò)去了。媽媽看準(zhǔn)了時(shí)機(jī)，立即調(diào)動(dòng)我的積極性，把老師當(dāng)天教的英語(yǔ)單詞分批教我，并慢慢告訴我這個(gè)字母在單詞中所發(fā)的音。這樣，日積月累，慢慢地我對(duì)有些字母的發(fā)音規(guī)律也有所掌握。正像媽媽所說(shuō)的那樣，一旦你會(huì)讀準(zhǔn)這個(gè)單詞，那么這個(gè)單詞的一半已被記住，只要稍一用心，就可記住全部。媽媽告訴我：學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)要循序漸進(jìn)，因?yàn)橛洃洉?huì)衰減，所以學(xué)單詞時(shí)，先學(xué)一遍，過(guò)一會(huì)兒復(fù)習(xí)一遍，到第二天再?gòu)?fù)習(xí)一遍，一星期、一個(gè)月內(nèi)再次復(fù)習(xí)，這樣能把短期記憶變成長(zhǎng)期記憶。這種方法叫作思馬德記憶。按照媽媽所說(shuō)的方法，我試了一下。哎，果真有效果！漸漸地我對(duì)背誦單詞有點(diǎn)竅門(mén)了。這個(gè)學(xué)期六個(gè)單元所要求的四會(huì)單詞，我全部做到了會(huì)聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)。
因?yàn)楸痴b單詞有了明顯的進(jìn)步，得到了老師的表?yè)P(yáng)，我的學(xué)習(xí)熱情倍增，對(duì)聽(tīng)力也產(chǎn)生了興趣�，F(xiàn)在我拿到聽(tīng)力課文，不象以前那樣手忙腳亂，而是先把課文、圖案看一遍。如果是選擇題，我會(huì)看清圖案，了解這幾幅圖的大致含義，再聽(tīng)錄音。我現(xiàn)在能抓住幾個(gè)重點(diǎn)詞語(yǔ)與圖案進(jìn)行對(duì)照，基本能做到準(zhǔn)確無(wú)誤。對(duì)閱讀也同樣，抓住幾個(gè)關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ)和下面的問(wèn)題進(jìn)行對(duì)照。

其實(shí)，爸爸的英語(yǔ)水平并不高，頂多就是小學(xué)三四年級(jí)的水平。爸爸常說(shuō)：“要想給學(xué)生一碗水，自己先得有一桶水，為此，他不得不自學(xué)英語(yǔ)。這無(wú)疑給他增加了難度。他學(xué)英語(yǔ)學(xué)的很艱苦，很認(rèn)真。爸爸是將近四十歲的人了，他學(xué)習(xí)沒(méi)有別的目的，只為輔導(dǎo)我，以便讓我學(xué)的更好�！巴映升垺甭�！可見(jiàn)爸爸在為我成才方面付出了多少心血。
爸爸他買(mǎi)了好多有關(guān)英語(yǔ)方面的書(shū)，還買(mǎi)磁帶和光盤(pán)。在這方面花錢(qián)他似乎從不心疼。爸爸學(xué)英語(yǔ)經(jīng)常一學(xué)就是半夜。爸爸的英語(yǔ)水平并不高，課本上有很多單詞他都不會(huì)讀，就自己查字典，注音標(biāo)，跟著復(fù)讀機(jī)一起讀，目的是為了學(xué)會(huì)更準(zhǔn)確的發(fā)音。遇到似懂非懂的問(wèn)題時(shí)，連我都懶的弄懂它，可爸爸總要查字典找資料，一定要弄個(gè)明白。有一天，我們一起學(xué)到深夜１２點(diǎn)，我都打盹了，我問(wèn)爸爸：“爸爸，你不瞌睡嗎？”爸爸說(shuō)：“為了你爸爸不能瞌睡！”

我明白，自己英語(yǔ)差，是不努力用功的原因。爸爸為了鼓勵(lì)我學(xué)習(xí)，常常和我以起朗讀，做作業(yè)。用他自己的話(huà)來(lái)說(shuō)這叫“陪讀”。爸爸說(shuō)“陪讀”一詞是近幾年聽(tīng)說(shuō)的，如今社會(huì)變了，父母親在教育子女的方式也似乎變了。爸爸說(shuō)“陪讀”只能陪到我小學(xué)畢業(yè)，不可以陪到我初中，高中。他只能充當(dāng)我的一個(gè)啟蒙老師，學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)的好壞關(guān)鍵在我自己把握。
從那一年起，在我和爸爸的`共同努力下，我的英語(yǔ)成績(jī)有了很大的提高，后來(lái)，每當(dāng)我學(xué)習(xí)想偷懶的時(shí)候總會(huì)想起爸爸的話(huà)和他的學(xué)習(xí)精神，每當(dāng)這時(shí)我也自然勤奮起來(lái)。
