This afternoon I joined in the English Corner at the Wuyi Square. There I met Tom, an American boy. He was tall and cute, with blue eyes and brown hair. He was as old as I. We talked with each other for two hours. He told me that his parents had come to China on business. It so happened that he was on holidays. So he came with them.
He was glad to see that so many Chinese children like English, and we agreed to keep in touch with each other later on. How happy I am to have made a new friend!

More Chances Should Be Offered to Women to Do Some High-level Jobs
Nowadays, with the rapid development of our society and economy, there have emerged many working opportunities. But there exists a problem that high-level jobs are mostly occupied by men even though some women are also competent. That disagrees with the equality of men and women.
When we talk about this phenomenon, first we must admit that there exist some differences between men and women. Then we should know that neither side could be regarded better or worse. For example, if you say men are often cairn and objective, but don＇t you see some men are more careless than women? Besides, if you think women are always hesitant and sensitive, then what would you say when they behave thoughtfully in work? Therefore there are not absolute advantages for men when considering their gender.
In another way, if you＇re a leader, what will be your criteria of selecting a candidate? Would you rather choose a guy just for he is a male and ignore another more competent lady? So whether or not a person has the ability for the job should be the first thing to consider.
However, this kind of prejudice has been existing for a long time. No matter men or women have been affected more or less, this idea has even made some women lose confidence in themselves. Therefore our whole society and especially our government should take efficient measure to encourage acertain percentage of jobs especially high level jobs to be reserved for women.
Through this way, we would hopefully see that more and more outstanding women can be working in their favourite jobs and can get their desirable position. And just by that our working field can be called a kind of equality of men and women.

一、熟悉和研究歷年真題，熟練背誦所考作文的幾種模板
背什么東西呢?很多同學(xué)會(huì)想到，就是背模版。模版這個(gè)東西是可以背的。
我們一般地來(lái)講會(huì)把6級(jí)的作文分成5種類型，那也就是至少有5篇文章可以作為模版去背誦。
背模版又可分成5個(gè)檔次：
1、最不好的其實(shí)就是沒有背模版，自己還沒有好東西，那叫“手中無(wú)劍，心中也無(wú)劍”，就是屬于“裸考”，屬于“等死”的檔次。
2、比較好的，比這個(gè)好一點(diǎn)的是背模版，沒有背好，沒有用對(duì)地方，僅僅是第2檔次，也就是“手中有劍，心中無(wú)劍”。
3、更好一點(diǎn)兒的是第3檔次，就是背準(zhǔn)了用對(duì)了，手中心中都有劍，但其實(shí)還不是最好的。
4、第4檔次，就是大家更應(yīng)該追求的，有自己的寫法，模版的句子也可以變。
其實(shí)考過(guò)4級(jí)的同學(xué)，你在4級(jí)模版里面背的句子，6級(jí)作文同樣可以用。還有，不管4級(jí)還6級(jí)的模版，你都可以把一些詞兒變成自己的，有自己的寫法，這個(gè)才是最應(yīng)該追求的，就是“手中無(wú)劍，但心中有劍”。
5、其實(shí)還有第5檔次，第5檔次不用追求，它名字等于第1檔次，仍然是“手中無(wú)劍，心中也無(wú)劍”，那是種超凡脫俗超然世外的心態(tài)，那就是不考。
其實(shí)我們都到現(xiàn)在了肯定是要考，要考就是要上戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)，要上戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)就得有劍。最好有自己的劍，實(shí)在不行再用我給的劍。這就是對(duì)我們背套句的態(tài)度。
二、提高作文分?jǐn)?shù)，除了背套句，要有自己發(fā)揮的內(nèi)容，需要背話題詞、常見詞
其實(shí)背誦還包括更多的東西，因?yàn)槌颂拙渲�，畢竟有一些東西是要靠自己寫的。套句再多也就占這個(gè)文章的1/3到1/2。只有極其個(gè)別的，比如說(shuō)像休職信/辭職信，那可能模版句能占到80%到90%，可是這種東西它既然能夠總結(jié)出這么多現(xiàn)成的模版，出題人是不太愿意出的。大家都可以背，背了就可以寫得好，改卷人看著那么多一樣的卷子他不好打分，所以考的'可能性不是那么大。那么更多的具備可考性的作文是沒有那么多模版可以背的，畢竟要有自己寫的地方。那么改卷的人，尤其是比較熟練的改卷的人，他就不看你的模版句了，你背對(duì)了也沒有太大的用處，只不過(guò)比你寫錯(cuò)了要強(qiáng)一點(diǎn)兒。他真正看的是你自己寫的地方怎么樣。

5. cannottoo結(jié)構(gòu),cannottoo意為It is impossible to overdo或者，即無(wú)論怎樣也不算過(guò)分。not可換用hardly，scarcely等，too可換用enough，sufficient等。
You cannot be too careful.
6. 否定+but 結(jié)構(gòu)，在否定詞后面的but，具有which not，who not，that not，等等否定意義，構(gòu)成前后的雙重否定。可譯成沒有不是或都等。
