　　老齡化社會(an aging society)是指老年人口占總?cè)丝谶_(dá)到或超過一定的比例的人口結(jié)構(gòu)模型。按照聯(lián)合國的傳統(tǒng)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)是一個地區(qū)60歲以上老人達(dá)到總?cè)丝诘腵10%，新標(biāo)準(zhǔn)是65歲老人占總?cè)丝诘?%，即該地區(qū)視為進(jìn)入老齡化社會。老齡化的加速對經(jīng)濟(jì)社會都將產(chǎn)生巨大的壓力。20xx年10月26日，中國傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日重陽節(jié)(the Double Ninth Festival)到來之際，中國正式啟動了一項應(yīng)對人口老齡化戰(zhàn)略研究，以積極應(yīng)對持續(xù)加劇的人口老齡化危機(jī)。

　　An aging society refers to a population structure model in which aging population reaches or exceeds a certain proportion. The region is regarded as entering an aging society according to the UN’s traditional standard that an area’s old people over 60 years old takes up 10% of the total population, while the new standard is old people over 65 years old takes up 7% of the total population. The acceleration of aging will bring enormous pressure to both economy and society. On October 26, 20xx when the Double Ninth Festival, the traditional Chinese festival, came, China formally launched a strategic research on coping with aging of population to deal with increasingly intensifying population aging crisis.

　　這是一個困擾大家很久的問題。從小學(xué)開始學(xué)習(xí)英文直到初中畢業(yè)，我們掌握了一定量的單詞和句型，但是在運(yùn)用這些單詞和句型的時候，我們往往會先在腦海中構(gòu)造一個中文的句式，然后把它翻譯成中文。

　　比如這個句子：

　　他的笑話把我給逗死了。

　　絕大多數(shù)同學(xué)都這樣寫：His joke made me laugh to death.

　　正如一句從英文翻譯過來的中文會顯露出它原本的英式結(jié)構(gòu)和用詞一樣，這樣一句漢語轉(zhuǎn)換成的英語也會暴露它深刻的中文血統(tǒng)，甚至因為強(qiáng)求對某個局部進(jìn)行中文對譯而導(dǎo)致最后寫成的句子貽笑大方。

　　所以在動筆練習(xí)寫作之前，我們首先要明白一點(diǎn)：雖然思維轉(zhuǎn)換成語言是瞬間的事情，但是思維本身不是語言。中國同學(xué)的問題在于，我們的思維轉(zhuǎn)變成中文的速度太快了，快到你自己意識不到這種轉(zhuǎn)換完成了，所以腦海中永遠(yuǎn)都是成型的中文句子，地道的中文句子。于是在寫作的時候，同學(xué)們總是面對中文句子，從第一個詞開始動筆翻譯，最后呈現(xiàn)的是一篇生硬的英語譯文，而非英語作文。大家稍微注意一下就會發(fā)現(xiàn)：

　　他的笑話把我給逗死了。

　　His joke made me laugh to death.

　　這兩個句子的一一對應(yīng)關(guān)系和生搬硬套的文字處理。

　　思維――中文――英文寫作模式最大的危害在于它不允許同學(xué)從整個句子的高度來把握句式結(jié)構(gòu)的組織和詞匯選擇，把同學(xué)套牢在和自己的中文斗爭，和一個個中文單詞斗爭的局部戰(zhàn)場上。所以說，在進(jìn)行英文寫作的時候，切斷思維和中文的連接，讓思維，而不是表述思維的中文留在腦海中，是進(jìn)行英語寫作的第一步。

　　說白了，就是你腦海中有那個意思，沒那個句子。

　　正因為沒有，才能夠創(chuàng)造，佛經(jīng)中說的真空妙有也是這個意思，因為茶杯是空的，才能倒進(jìn)水去，一個被塞滿的茶杯貌似充實，其實是最沒用。

　　現(xiàn)在同學(xué)們可以嘗試用英文對整個句子進(jìn)行表述，這時候，絕大多數(shù)的同學(xué)會感到有點(diǎn)兒痛苦。因為你的復(fù)雜的思維，豐富的感請，美好的想法要用一種陌生的語言表達(dá)出來，是很吃力的。這是正常而且真實的情況，因為這是你第一次甩掉中文的拐杖獨(dú)立用英語寫作。

　　讓我們一起來試試。還是那個句子：

　　他的笑話把我給逗死了。

　　我們放棄對“逗死”這個詞匯的對譯，感覺一下，其實就是他的笑話很精彩，我很愉快。因為一種娛樂活動而感到快樂，我們就能找到amuse這個詞匯了。還有一個詞是entertain，也接近這個意思，但那是綜合的被娛樂而滿足的意思，沒有哈哈大笑的傳神感覺，所以我們還是用amuse這個詞。

　　Amuse是一個動詞，它的分詞形式是同學(xué)們非常熟悉的，一個是amused，一個是amusing.在這里兩個詞都可以用。

　　然后再來看看逗死的死怎么說。按照字面就是die，一個笑話，字字見血，這太可怕了。其實死在這里無非表示一種很深的程度而已。這個意思我們掌握有quite，rather等一系列詞匯。

　　現(xiàn)在難點(diǎn)解決了，讓我們用amused寫這個句子：

　　I was quite amused by the joke he just told.

　　同學(xué)們注意到這是一個比His joke made me laugh to death這種人鬼情未了式的句子正常多了的一個表達(dá)。為什么我們一開始寫不出來呢？讓我們把它字字對譯到中文：

　　我是很被逗樂被那個笑話他剛告訴。

　　這的確是中文，但不是人話。所以同學(xué)們永遠(yuǎn)也不可能在腦海中形成這么一句中文句子，沒有“我是很被逗樂被那個笑話他剛告訴”這樣的中文句子，對譯型同學(xué)就無法寫出“I was quite amused by the joke he just told”這樣的被動句子。

　　事實上，絕大多數(shù)英文的被動表達(dá)在中文中都特別奇怪。比如常見的“sb”s son was born“，這是一個被動語態(tài)，用中文的被動來表達(dá)就是”某人的.兒子被生了“，這幾乎會讓同學(xué)們?nèi)滩蛔‘a(chǎn)生”是誰干的“這樣的問題。

　　同學(xué)們之所以不太能夠在寫作中自如地使用被動句子，思維――中文――英文的錯誤寫作習(xí)慣就是主要的原因之一。

　　糾正這個習(xí)慣就要隨時在英語寫作訓(xùn)練上注意克服對中文的依賴。習(xí)慣是由于重復(fù)而產(chǎn)生的，也只能通過更多次的重復(fù)去消除掉。你練習(xí)中文，使用中文已經(jīng)很長時間了，中文對你來說是一種強(qiáng)勢的語言，思維到中文最輕松，最快捷，最不假思索。而我們就是要把這個不假思索的過程停止，重新去審視，阻斷和剝離掉中文的影響，才能讓寫出的英文句子地道，純凈，優(yōu)美。
