每年的公歷四月五日前后為清明節(jié)，是二十四節(jié)氣之一。
The tomb sweeping day is one of the traditional festivals in China. On April 5th, people start to visit their ancestors’ tombs. Generally speaking, people will bring the home-made food, some fake money and paper-made mansion to their ancestors. When they start to honour their ancestor, they will light up some candles and incense, put some flowers around the tombs. The most important thing is to put the home-made food in front of the tombs. The food, also known as sacrifices, is usually made up with a chicken, a fish and some pork. It’s a symbol of the offspring’s respect to the ancestors. People believe that the forbears will share the food with them. The children dedicate the food and money to their forbears in order to show their love and caring. The young offspring will go down on their knees and pray for their ancestors. They can say their wishes in front of the tombs and the ancestors will make their dreams come true.

People believe that eating ay tsao rice balls can get rid of the bad luck and everything will go smoothly. Other activities such as spring outing, tree planting are the other ways to commemorate the forbears. For one thing, it is a sign that people should look into the future and embrace the hope; for another thing, we do hope our ancestor rest in peace.

Atthat time, there was no seat. But she must lookafter her baby carefully. She had to stand next to me. I wanted to stand upand let her sit down, but I was afraidof hearing the other people say “That girl wants to be praised.” I looked around. Most people were looking out of the windows and some were sleeping. Suddenly, alittle boy behind me, stood up and maderoom for the woman. She said:“Thank you very much” with abig smile. The boy smiled, too. When I told my cousin about it after that,he said :“That child is a great boy.” I'mvery ashamed. Why couldn't I do the same thing as the little boy did?
From that, I knew that we should doour best to help people who need help. If everyone makes a contributionto helping others, the world will become much more beautiful!

On Christmas day when I was five years old, I learned from my friends that Christmas Eve would be a gift for you when you were sleeping, when you were sleeping.
I was so happy that I ran home and asked my parents, "mom and dad, today is Christmas. Will Santa bring me a present?" Mother smiled and said, "silly child, how come? It's just a story. It's all made up." I was very angry. "no, you're lying. That's not a story. It's real." I was so angry that I cried.
In the evening, I did what my partner told me to do -- hang the stockings over the bed and fall asleep.
The next day, I looked into the stocking, and sure enough, there was a present. I was so happy that I took the presents to my parents in the living room. "Look, mom and dad." I pointed to the gift and laughed and said, "this is what Santa sent me. I said it's real!" Dad smiled and said, "oh! There's Santa Claus! It's nice! Ha ha!"
For the next four years, I also received Christmas presents. When I was ten years old, I thought, "what does Santa look like? Why don't you take a peek at his gift tonight?"
Early in the evening, I back to home, after about two hours, only to hear "noting" sound, I slightly opened his eyes, only to see mom and dad, they put gift carefully in my Christmas stockings hanging in the head of a bed. When I suddenly sat up, my parents did not know what to say, and I tearfully said to my parents, "mom and dad, thank you!"
Although there is no Santa Claus and no Christmas gifts, I was the happiest at the age of ten.
