　　After getting off the stage, Al was trying to make his way towards the food tables in the back. He did expect to encounter people wanting to take pictures with him, or to obtain an autograph. The number of people and the amount of time they took, however, were longer than he expected. Or was it because he was kind of in a hurry to get to the back? Al was unsure. Nonetheless, Al kept his smile and handled the crowd with grace. Just when he was about done, a staff member tapped him on the arm, informing him that the corporate executives were asking for him.

　　1、時態(tài)誤用

　　不少同學寫作時過于匆忙，還沒弄清文章的主體時態(tài)就下筆，導致時態(tài)誤用，造成失分。面對不同的作文題材，我們應運用合適的時態(tài)。

　　例如，一般現(xiàn)在時多用于描述事物的`特性、用途或介紹某地的地理位置，人口等;一般過去時則多用于介紹人物生平經(jīng)歷、已經(jīng)開展的調(diào)查、報告等;而一般將來時多用于尚未發(fā)生但準備開展的比賽或通知等。

　　2、缺乏“詞匯美”

　　高級詞匯使用恰當能把作文提升一個檔次。作文中的高級詞匯主要體現(xiàn)在動詞和形容詞的運用。

　　同學在平日可以對詞義相近的單詞進行歸納總結(jié)，例如， complete，fulfill，accomplish，achieve，四者都代表“完成”意思。寫作文時，只需把簡單詞匯換成高級詞匯就能讓作文華麗“大變身”。

　　3、丟失“銜接美”

　　我們一般會在句首或句中增添一些連接詞，使得上下文通順連貫。當我們說起連接詞時，相信大部分同學首先想到but，because，so這類簡單連詞。但在改卷過程中，老師更欣賞使用如on the contrary ，as the result of，owing to的連接短語。

　　其實這類連詞或短語大家都背過不少，可是寫作文時總忘記學以致用，把學過的連接詞都忘記得一干二凈。

　　4、忘記“句式美”

　　有的同學缺乏句型積累，所以通篇運用簡單陳述句，句式平淡無味，很難吸引老師眼球。反之，如果同學們能適當運用復合句、強調(diào)句型、非謂語動詞，或with的復合結(jié)構(gòu)。文章的句式就會多變，內(nèi)容描述會生動起來，分數(shù)也隨之提高。

　　例如：This book was so interesting that I read it again and again.

　　這本書是如此的有趣，以致我讀了一遍又一遍。

　　這是簡單的so…that句型的句子，如果把句型換成：

　　So interesting was this book that I read it again and again.

　　該句從一般陳述句改成倒裝句，會讓老師眼前一亮。
