The American tour is over, and a little bit of the American swim through time and space tunnel, drip in my heart, printed in my mind.

America is an independent country. As for education, in China, we are all the baby in the family, holding hands in our hands, a little hurt is not willing to let us, more reluctant to stay away from our parents' arms. American parents are more relaxed about their children and let them succeed with their own efforts. I saw such a scene in the United States, a baby fell down, and the baby's mother didn't have as much pain as her parents in China, but taught him how to get up. At the sorran school in Los Angeles, there are many big brothers and sisters who are doing volunteer work to get credits, and they create their own world with their own hands. Our Chinese students may be little princess princesses at home. But in the United States, our landlady has made us experience our own dishes and the joys of labor. That's how two parents of different countries have different approaches to education kids. Perhaps, the pain is some, but only temporary, but the cowardice in the heart once formed, is permanent, cannot change. This is worth learning.

American thrift is more worth learning. In China, we may be a little wasteful, but in the United States, most of the meals are buffet. There are some Chinese students who have been watching for a while. Many students take a lot of food, but many of them are wasted, and americans eat as much as they can and never waste food. My MOM is a woman who knows her life well and doesn't live in a wealthy neighborhood, but her family has always been frugal. They have three cars, an armored car, a sports car and a car. Two of them are luxury cars, and one is a Mercedes Benz in the eighties. In China, people tend to drive luxury cars, and they usually drive old cars. They have a pool where they often hold parties, so that we have the privilege of meeting more foreigners.

On the first day to Los Angeles, Xu Mingjie very lucky and I attended a local wedding, it was a very romantic wedding, under the illuminate of lamplight, a couple looks very bright. Little girls and small, well-fitted dresses add another look to the wedding.

Christianity was the bishop of the United States, and in the soslan school, it was the propaganda of Christianity. In that, although we believe in Buddhism, we respect their Christian culture, which is the highlight of Chinese students abroad. Our family still goes to church on the weekend.

In the United States, we went to shopping malls, and the shop assistants were very enthusiastic about us, and we were in that crazy shopping, invisibility, which promoted the economic development of the United States. To think about, and why the salesman students enthusiasm for China, which is not China's continuous development, continuous increase in the national economy, despite this, we don't it is for the welfare of the United States?

After a week of study, we went on to the east, the White House, congress, the United Nations, Wall Street, Broadway... Let us experience another American amorous feelings.

I don't think americans are as gentlemanly as British people, but there are still places to learn, and I've benefited a lot from this trip to America.

The job of raising children is a tough one. Children don't come with an instructionmanual. And each child is different. So parents sometimes pull their hair out in frustration, notknowing what to do. But in raising children-as in all of life-what we do is influenced by ourculture. Naturally then, American parents teach their children basic American values.

To Americans, the goal of parents is to help children stand on their own two feet. Frominfancy, each child may get his or her own room. As children grow, they gain more freedom tomake their own choices. Teenagers choose their own forms of entertainment, as well as thefriends to share them with. When they reach young adulthood, they choose their own careersand marriage partners. Of course, many young adults still seek their parents' advice andapproval for the choices they make. But once they "leave the nest" at around 18 to 21 yearsold, they want to be on their own, not "tied to their mother's apron strings."

The relationship between parents and children in America is very informal. Americanparents try to treat their children as individuals-not as extensions of themselves. They allowthem to fulfill their own dreams. Americans praise and encourage their children to give themthe confidence to succeed. When children become adults, their relationship with their parentsbecomes more like a friendship among equals. But contrary to popular belief, most adultAmericans don't make their parents pay for room and board when they come to visit. Even asadults, they respect and honor their parents.

Most young couples with children struggle with the issue of childcare. Mothers havetraditionally stayed home with their children. In recent years, though, a growing trend is to putpreschoolers in a day care center so Mom can work. Many Americans have strong feelings aboutwhich type of arrangement is best. Some argue that attending a day care center can be apositive experience for children. Others insist that mothers are the best caregivers for children.A number of women are now leaving the work force to become full-time homemakers.

Disciplining children is another area that American parents have differing opinions about. Many parents feel that an old-fashioned spanking helps youngsters learn what "No!" means.Others prefer alternate forms of discipline. For example, "time outs" have become popular inrecent years. Children in "time out" have to sit in a corner or by a wall. They can get up onlywhen they are ready to act nicely. Older children and teenagers who break the rules may begrounded, or not allowed to go out with friends. Some of their privileges at home-like TV ortelephone use-may also be taken away for a while. Although discipline isn't fun for parents orchildren, it's a necessary part of training.

Being a parent is a tall order. It takes patience, love, wisdom, courage and a good sense ofhumor to raise children (and not lose your sanity). Some people are just deciding not to havechildren at all, since they're not sure it's worth it. But raising children means training the nextgeneration and preserving our culture. What could be worth more than that?

This is a good news for Chinese singers, it is said that there will be a Chinese music group and a man invited to performance in the American famous music show. It sounds so inspiring, it seems that Chinese music has been introduced into American market. While the fact is not, the invited Chinese singers only get their performance when the advertisement time comes, it is so awkward, they are given the unimportant time. Chinese music still not get into the American musical market, American people just want to catch Chinese people’s attention and go into Chinese market, so they invited the Chinese singers. I believe that our Chinese music will get be popular around the world some day.

The United States of America, also known as the United States, the U.S., the U.S.A., and America, is a country in North America that shares land borders with Canada and Mexico, and a sea border with Russia. Extending from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean, the United States is a federal republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C.

The present-day continental United States has been inhabited for at least 15,000 years by indigenous tribes. After European exploration and settlement in the 16th century, the English established their own colonies—and gained control of others that had been begun by other European nations—in the eastern portion of the continent in the 17th and early 18th centuries. On 4 July 1776, at war with Britain over fair governance, thirteen of these colonies declared their independence. In 1783, the war ended in British acceptance of the new nation. Since then, the country has more than quadrupled in size: it now consists of 50 states and one federal district; it also has numerous overseas territories.

At over 3.7 million square miles (over 9.5 million km), the U.S. is the third or fourth largest country by total area, depending on whether the disputed areas of China are included. It is the world's third most populous nation, with nearly 300 million people.

The United States has maintained a liberal democratic political system since it adopted its Articles of Confederation on 1 March 1781 and the Constitution, the Articles' replacement, on 17 September 1787. American military, economic, cultural, and political influence increased throughout the 20th century; with the collapse of the Soviet Union at the end of the Cold War, the nation emerged as the world's sole remaining superpower. Today, it plays a major role in world affairs.

The earliest known use of the name America is from 1507, when a globe and a large map created by the German cartographer Martin Waldseemüller in Saint-Die-des-Vosges described the combined continents of North and South America. Although the origin of the name is uncertain, the most widely held belief is that expressed in an accompanying book, Cosmographiae Introductio, which explains it as a feminized version of the Latin name of Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci (Americus Vespucius); in Latin, the other continents' names were all feminine. Vespucci theorized, correctly, that Christopher Columbus, on reaching islands in the Caribbean Sea in 1492, had come not to India but to a "New World".

The Americas were also known as Columbia, after Columbus, prompting the name District of Columbia for the land set aside as the U.S. capital. Columbia remained a popular name for the United States until the early 20th century, when it fell into relative disuse; but it is still used poetically and appears in various names and titles. A female personification of the country is also called Columbia; she is similar to Britannia. Columbus Day, a holiday in the U.S. and other countries in the Americas commemorating Columbus' October 1492 landing.

The term "united States of America" was first used officially in the Declaration of Independence, adopted on 4 July 1776. On 15 November 1777, the Second Continental Congreadopted the Articles of Confederation, the first of which stated "The Stile of this Confederacy shall be 'The United States of America.'"

The adjectival and demonymic forms for the United States are American, a point of controversy among some.

Nowadays, many people like to study abroad. Studying abroad is often considered as a great opportunity which will lead to bright future in one's ride of passage. Not only can we learn different cultures and knowledge from foreign countries, studying abroad can also enrich our lives.

One coin has two sides. Likewise, different people have different minds. Conservative and negative concerns about studying abroad have been gradually emerging from our society. People start to wonder what goes wrong with studying abroad. There are a couple of issues worth of our discussions.

Disadvantages of studying abroad may affect one's life culturally and economically. We Chinese will experience cultural shocks if we study abroad and live in another country. Some peers may not be able to adapt to a new environment of their studying and living, which may be very different from that of theirs. Life is beautiful, and it is hard. If one does not feel comfortable with the new culture of another country, he will not be happy about studying in that country.

In addition, studying abroad can cost students a great deal of living expenses. Some Chinese students are so academically successful that they receive scholarships in their studies. However, most peers who study abroad do not receive scholarships. Furthermore, they have to deal with many unexpected hardships by living away from their parents and homeland. For example, medical insurance, daily foods, clothes, rents and transportation can generate a large amount of living expenses. Often time, they need to heavily depend on their parents' overseas monthly payments.

There are varying opinions as to the origin of Valentine‘s Day. Some experts state that it originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries.

Legend also says that St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer‘s daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it From Your Valentine. Other aspects of the story say that Saint Valentine served as a priest at the temple during the reign of Emperor Claudius. Claudius then had Valentine jailed for defying him. In 496 A.D. Pope Gelasius set aside February 14 to honour St. Valentine.

Cars are an important part of life in the United States. Cars have made the United Slates a nation on wheels.

There are 3 main reasons why the car has become so popular in this country. First of all, Americans like to travel. The car provides the most comfortable and cheapest form of transportation. With a car people can go any place without spending a lot of moncy.

The second reason that cars are popular is the fact that the United States never really developed an efficient and inexpensive form of public transportation. Long-distance trains have never been as common in the United States as they are in other parts of the world. Air-service provides a comfortable travel system. But it is too expensive to be used frequently.

The third reason is the most important one, though. The American spirit of inde pendence is what really made cars popular. Americans do not like to wait for a bus, or a train or even a plane. They do not like to have to follow an exact schedule. A car gives them the frecdom to schedule their own time, and this is the freedom that Americans want most to have.

The USA is the third most popular destination in the world, with over 45 million people travelling to the country every year. They’ve got good reason, too – few other places offer such a wide variety of activities, geographical diversity and rich, if brief, history.

America’s major cities buzz with energy and excitement, from cosmopolitan New York City, historic Boston, glamorous Los Angeles and gritty Chicago to extrovert Las Vegas and sultry New Orleans.

Venture out of the urban centres and you’ll find backwater gems full of small-town charm, tucked between miles and miles of open highway and spectacular scenery.

The landscape changes with dizzying speed, from the vast deserts of Nevada to soaring s-topped mountains, lush forests and white-sand beaches.

America is one of the easiest places to travel, whatever your plans. With fantastic transport services and a multitude of resources for tourists, visitors are never far away from high quality and reasonably priced accommodation, or somewhere decent to grab a bite.
