　　Summer holidday is coming.I have a good plan for it.My best friend Tony who is from Britain will spend the holiday with mw.Tom is 17 years old ,he like China very much.One week ago,I wrote him a letter,inviting him to come to Dalian for the holidays.Tony has accepted my invitation and will fly to Dalian next week.I will go to the airport to pick him up.Then we'll show him around the city.We'll go to the beach to watch the sea first.Then we'll visit some insteresing places.Tony will live in my house during the holiday.I hope we'll have a good time.

　　August 18 we came to the Pudong Airport, this is my first plane, before my mother has been told to let me take a trip, feel the air feeling. This time actually really on the plane, and my heart was happy and nervous. Happy to be finally able to fly like a bird in the sky, can be nervous is the plane in case of failure, how to do. Thinking about the plane running up. First run slowly, and then add enough horsepower, call the sound, straight into the sky. After about ten minutes, I have a feeling of clouds. 　　八月十八日我們來到了浦東機(jī)場(chǎng)，這是我第一次乘飛機(jī)，以前媽媽一直說要讓我乘一趟飛機(jī)，感受空中的感覺。這次居然真的上飛機(jī)了，心里又高興又緊張。高興地是終于能像小鳥一樣在天空上飛，可緊張的是飛機(jī)萬一出故障，怎么辦。想著想著飛機(jī)跑起來了。先是慢慢跑，然后加足馬力，呼的一聲，直沖云霄。大約過了十幾分鐘，我有種騰云駕霧的.感覺。我緊張的往下看，感覺自己在云霧中穿行。

　　正當(dāng)我想入非非時(shí)，突然，飛機(jī)一下?lián)u晃起來，這時(shí)我想：糟了糟了，飛機(jī)一定出事故了，我的心一下子提到了嗓子眼。忽然，喇叭里說：“由于飛機(jī)受到了強(qiáng)氣流，請(qǐng)乘客們扣好安全帶。”哎!真是虛驚一場(chǎng)。又過了一個(gè)小時(shí)，飛機(jī)終于到了三亞鳳凰機(jī)場(chǎng)了。記住我第一次乘飛機(jī)真是有驚無險(xiǎn)啊。

　　With the general standard of living improving and the working week becoming shorter， more and more people are able to make a holiday trip to places of interest. While many like to join package tours fro convenience， I prefer to travel on my own.

　　I like travelling on may own not only because it costs much less but because it gives a great degree of independence and freedom. Travelling on my own， I'm my own boss； and can decide when to start on my way， where to linger a little longer and which spot can be skipped over to save energy or time for another spot. I can always adjust my plan. On the contrary， in a package tour you're deprived of as much freedom as in a military base. At the sound of the whistle， you have to jump up from a sound sleep and， with heavy-lidded eyes， hurry to the gathering place where you are collected and counted to board a coach. At the sight of the little flag waving， you must immediately take yourself away from the scenes you are marveling at and follow the guide whose sole interest is to cover all spots according to him strict schedule， regardless of the weather or your health condition.

　　True， you may encounter inconveniences if you travel inpidually， for instance， getting accommodations for the night and finding a place for meals. But nothing can be compared with the freedom which is vital to a person who takes a holiday trip mainly to escape from constraints of his routine life.
