　　A tour guide is a person who leads groups of tourists around a town, museum, or other tourist attractions. The guide provides commentary on the features and history of the location. The tours can be from as little as 10-15 minutes to extended periods over many days. Such a person normally possesses a qualification usually issued or recognised by the appropriate authority.

　　When I travelled in Nanjing, Yangzhou and Suzhou last summer with my parents, an idea always ran into my mind that I could consider becoming an English tour guide some day. Yes, why not? Travel can broaden my mind, deepen my knowledge of the beautiful in China, even in the world.

　　If I can realize my dream, then personally I can enjoy the beautiful scenic spots for free and earn money and enrich my life, thus uplifting my life quality.

　　我最大的夢想就是讓我們的地球更健康。楊利偉在太空中說地球像一個水球，但是在不是海的地方究竟又是什么顏色呢？其實現(xiàn)在的地球早已不是原來的樣子了。這些都是應為我們現(xiàn)在的科技惹的禍�？萍际且话央p刃劍，它的飛速發(fā)展有利也有弊：他雖然讓我們更方便，更快捷，足不出戶就可以做許多是事。但也讓我們的地球傷痕累累，科技的發(fā)展是建立在地球的資源上面的！

　　My biggest dream is to make our earth healthier. Yang Liwei said in space that the earth is like a water polo, but what color is it not in the sea? In fact, the earth is not what it used to be. These are all for our present technology to blame. Science and technology is a double-edged sword, and its rapid development has both advantages and disadvantages: although it makes us more convenient and faster, we can do a lot of things without leaving home. 　　雖然上海世博會的口號是“城市讓生活更美好”但許多人都認為城市讓生活更糟糕！像上海那樣的城市，空氣污染指數(shù)都暴表了。南京也是天天在霧霾的籠罩之下，這些都是汽車尾氣和工廠的黑氣。雖然現(xiàn)在國家在講什么空氣改造計劃，其實只是說說而已，并沒有什么多大的實際行動。如果想根本的.改造空氣一是要政府的加強管理，二是要我們的自覺行動。

　　Yesterday, we had a discussion. The topic is"What is my dream?"Everyone has his dream. Some want to be teachers,others want to be scientists. My dream is to become a doctor.

　　My friends asked me why. I told them my story. When I was a small boy, I was very weak. Once I was terribly ill. I had a high fever. My parents sent me to the hospital but the doctors could do nothing for me. Then my parents heard there was a very good doctor in another town. They took me there at once. I was saved.

　　A good doctor can save peoples lives. From then on I decided to become a doctor. I know it is not easy to be a doctor.But I am determined to study hard. I am sure my dream will come true.

　　在昨天，我們有一個討論。主題就是“我的夢想是什么?”每個人都有他的夢想。有些人想成為老師，其他人想成為科學家。我的夢想是成為一名醫(yī)生。
