　　Since the financial crisis swept the world, the global economy has sunk into a severe recession. Its impact on our daily life can be felt in all walks of life。

　　College students inevitably fall victim to this pervasive slump as well. On top of that, internships and job vacancies are reduced to the minimum as companies keep shrinking. New graduates find themselves hard to get a job, not to speak of a satisfactory one. What comes next? Poor students will be hard-pressed if they find student loans unavailable any more. As a result, some even cannot afford to continue their studies. In addition, cancelling the death penalty will weaken the effect of our laws.

　　On the other hand, some people consider that the death penalty should be canceled. They point out that no matter what the CRIminals have done, they are still human beings. Each life is precious and we should respect each life. Besides, we should give another chance for the criminals to remedy their mistakes and amend themselves.

　　另一方面，有些人認(rèn)為死刑應(yīng)該取消。他們指出，不管罪犯做了什么，他們終究還是人。生命都是寶貴的，我們應(yīng)該尊重每一條生命。此外，我們應(yīng)該給罪犯一個彌補過錯，改過自新的機會。

　　Taking above into consideration, I am inclined to agree with the former. I suggest that we should remain the death penalty. Although the latter is right in some extent, I do not agree that those who murder deliberately should be forgiven and pardoned.

　　綜上所述，我傾向于同意前者的觀點。我建議保留死刑。雖然后者有一定的道理，但是我不認(rèn)為故意殺人的人應(yīng)該被原諒，被赦免。
