我們育才二小一年一度的英語(yǔ)節(jié)來(lái)到了，今年是第八屆英語(yǔ)節(jié)。下午第一節(jié)課后，全校師生排著整齊的隊(duì)伍來(lái)到大操場(chǎng)，熱切地等待著英語(yǔ)節(jié)表演的開始。
英語(yǔ)節(jié)由六年級(jí)的四個(gè)同學(xué)主持，他們流利的英語(yǔ)、從容的神態(tài)、大方的舉止讓我佩服。節(jié)目很快開始了——首先出場(chǎng)的是一年級(jí)同學(xué)，他們的服裝、道具準(zhǔn)備得很充分，歌聲洪亮悅耳，動(dòng)作熟練整齊。他們的表演給英語(yǔ)節(jié)開了個(gè)不錯(cuò)的頭。
二年級(jí)、三年級(jí)的表演依次上場(chǎng)。同學(xué)們穿著禮服在陽(yáng)光下顯得格外挺拔。雖然他們的'位置離我們很遠(yuǎn)，但他們的聲音，我們聽得一清二楚。節(jié)目越來(lái)越精彩......
終于輪到我們四年級(jí)了，我們年級(jí)表演的集體節(jié)目是歌曲《Oh,Mr. Sun》、舞蹈《校歌（英文版）》和《a school Saturday》，大家表演得都很賣力，演出很成功，超出了我們的預(yù)期。
最精彩的要數(shù)我們班的女生舞蹈表演--《WakaWaka》，這是上屆南非足球世界杯的主題曲，表演者是在上次才藝表演中大顯身手的“魔鬼組合”——李滋等女生。一陣瘋狂的音樂(lè)響起，我們班的李滋、文童、徐茉莉等人閃亮登場(chǎng)，只見(jiàn)六個(gè)臉上抹著彩色條紋油彩、披頭散發(fā)、袒露半肩、披著豹皮的女孩登上了舞臺(tái)。一陣急促、強(qiáng)勁的音樂(lè)響起，她們開始了舞蹈，一會(huì)兒，她們瘋狂地甩頭，好似六陣黑色的旋風(fēng)；一會(huì)兒面對(duì)面抖動(dòng)雙肩，你傾我倒，我倒你傾。音樂(lè)到中間愈來(lái)愈激烈，我們仿佛來(lái)了非洲大草原，被一群剛剛捕獲獵物的黑人包圍。到后面音樂(lè)慢慢地緩和下來(lái)，結(jié)束時(shí)他們聚到中間，擺了個(gè)漂亮的姿勢(shì)。她們精彩的表演贏得了全校師生的熱烈喝彩，為咱們班爭(zhēng)了光，成了這次英語(yǔ)節(jié)上的一個(gè)亮點(diǎn)。
咱們班的王牌——姜寧是一定要上場(chǎng)的，她用嫻熟流利的英語(yǔ)為大家做了一次生動(dòng)的演講，可惜我們都沒(méi)完全聽明白所有的內(nèi)容，看來(lái)還得下苦功夫才能學(xué)好英語(yǔ)。
精彩的節(jié)目一個(gè)接著一個(gè)。最后，我們的英語(yǔ)老師演唱了一首英文老歌《love you more than I can say》。為這次英語(yǔ)節(jié)劃上了完美的句號(hào)。

Fire Prevention on Campus
People are alarmed by the succession of campus fires in recent years. In each of these accidents, heavy casualties were reported - houses were burned down, students lost their lives, and properties were damaged. Faced with such a chilling fact, people keep asking, "What on earth results in these repeated tragedies?"
A brief survey of them reveals that human factors still prove to be the leading causes. For example, three of these fires were caused by the students' use of electric water-heaters. As students often leave the heaters unattended, the risks are rather high should the water in the bottle boil dry while no one is around to turn off the power. In other cases, fires were also caused by stoves, candles, cigarette butts, etc.
Since most of these disasters could have been prevented if proper precautions had been taken, students should be better educated on the importance and measures of fire control. The following three reminders are of particular importance for us students: First, learn how to use a fire extinguisher. Second, double-check candles, heaters, stoves and other electric appliances, and make sure there are no open flames before leaving rooms. Lastly, do not smoke in the dorm.

the traffic density can be redncedi hence speeding up the flow of buses and cars.But the new roads and streets will be filled with many cars and buses soon.
Some people advise to limit the number of bikes and cars. This can decrease the traffic flow. But on the other haad, this will affect the consumption and make buses more crowded.
In my opinion, the number of private cars should be put under control. And at the same time, buses should have their own special routes which cannot be used by other vehicles. Besides, underground train and city train should be developed quickly.
