　　My Sister goes to Taipei First Municipal Girls' High School and is in her second year there. This is the best girl high school in the city, and My sister is a very good student. My sister likes Sports. And now she is a member of the school track team. The regular schoolwork and the sports keep my sister very busy and yet very happy. She hopes to be able to go to college when she graduates. She enjoys English which they have nine sessions of one hour's class every week' she hopes to major in English in the future. Usually she goes to school at six in the morning and in the afternoon she comes home at six, too. After dinner she usually studies until ten o'clock or so and then goes to bed. On Saturday afternoons she spends her time at the school track. I think I have a very good sister; she also likes to smile often.

　　Others think it unnecessary. For one thing, students can easily form the habit of dependence. For another, students need time for rest and recreation at weekend. What’s worse, attending training classes or hiring tutors even causes some students not to listen attentively in their regular classes.

　　In my opinion, whether a training class or tutor is needed just depends. If you are really very weak at or interested in a certain subject, maybe it’s OK for you. But be sure to choose a good and suitable class or teacher, otherwise it would be a waste of time and money.

　　今天是 12月26日 ，快樂的圣誕節(jié)終于來到了，同時我們又迎來了盼望已久的第二屆英語節(jié)的到來。

　　下午四點鐘，隊員們?nèi)雸隽�。會場設在學校的學術(shù)報告廳，那里早已經(jīng)是燈火通明，正前方的表演臺四周掛滿五顏六色的氣球，在燈光的照射下，絢麗無比，美麗極了。這時，觀眾臺上也坐滿了人，大廳里開著暖氣，熱烘烘的，整個大廳就像一個大烤箱。

　　隨著主持人宣布，此次英語節(jié)正式拉開序幕。首先進行了歌舞表演，精彩的節(jié)日讓參賽選手們也放松了心情。演講開始了，第一個上場的是我班的劉汝鴻同學，只見他站在臺上，很輕松地講著，十分流暢，也可能是他久經(jīng)沙場，習慣了這樣的比賽吧�。ǖ谝粚糜⒄Z節(jié)他也參加了）可是到后面，他有點打頓了，一下子就錯了兩處。這時，我不禁為自己擔心起來，心怦怦直跳，頭上也冒汗了。

　　這時，劉汝鴻講完了，接下來就輪到我了，我十分緊張地從他手中接過話筒，走上舞臺，心跳加劇，“My friends here……”咦？聲音怎么這么小，哦，太緊張了，忘記打開話筒了。我急忙打開開關(guān)，放開嗓門，開始了我的演講。

　　我眼睛目視前方，卻不敢看評委，只是集中精力看著桌子，好讓自己的心情平靜下來。我雙手緊緊地握住話筒，手心都握出汗來了，我認真地背著，心里不停地鼓勵自己：“千萬別緊張，千萬不要出錯！”終于，我演講完畢，深深地向評委鞠了一躬，走下臺去。心中的`這塊大石頭總算放了下來。

　　接下來，我們班的話劇組上場了，我們使勁為他們鼓掌，話劇按原計劃有條不紊地進行著，我從心底暗暗為他們加油。當我看了別班同學表演的節(jié)目是，徹底失望了，他們那精妙的語言，完美的動作和豐富的表情，讓我們個個都看得目瞪口呆。但是，評判結(jié)果還沒下來，我們也不能長他人志氣，滅自己威風啊。

　　這次英語比賽，既豐富了我的知識，也鍛煉了我的膽量，我真希望以后學校多舉行這樣的比賽。
