　　There are many people who think that wealth is better than health. I used to think so until one day I read a story about Howard Hughes. He was an American billionaire who got anything he wanted. However, in the last twenty years of his life, his health began to deteriorate and he was miserable. He had the best doctors and nurses. However, he could still find no relief. I realized that health is worth all the money in the world. If you have millions of dollars but your health is poor, you will not be able to do what you want to do. I would like to say don't hurt yourself trying to make money. Instead take care of your body and be happy with what you do have. Health is more important.

　　So I think health is more important than wealth. People can do nothing if they are always in poor health, let alone happiness. No matter we are rich or not, we can not ignore the importance of health.

　　Although European football is the parent of American football，the two games show several major differences. European football，sometimes called association football or soccer，is played in 80 countries，making it the most widely played sport in the world. American football，on the other hand，is popular only in North America（the United States and Canada）.Soccer is played by eleven players with a round ball. Football，also played by eleven players in somewhat different positions（位置）on the field，is played with an elongated（拉長(zhǎng)的）round ball. Soccer has little body contact（接觸）between players and therefore needs no special protective equipment. Football，in which players make the greatest use of body contact to stop a running ball-carrier and his teammates，needs special protective equipment. In soccer，the ball is advanced toward the goal by kicking it or by butting（頂）it with the head. In American football，on the other hand，the ball is passed from hand to hand or carried in the hands across the opponent's（對(duì)手）goal. The passive smokers usually feel uncomfortable, such as headache, cough or no appetite at all. The World Health Organization said that more than 2.5 million people die of smoking cigarette every year. Secondly, smoking cigarette costs large sum of money. A heavy smoker can smoke up to 5 packs of cigarettes a day. If one pack is 20 Yuan, then it will cost 100 Yuan per day. The money you spend on smoking is 36,500 Yuan for the whole year. If you don’t smoke, you can use the money to do other meaningful things. For instance, traveling, investing. Last but not least, smoking has a bad impact on the smokers’ daily life and their minds. Smoking will affect the relationship between the smokers and their families. For one thing, the smokers want to quit smoking, but it’s hard. And the smokers’ families will be really disappointed if they keep on smoking. Step by step, the smokers will lose self-confident and self-respect. For another, few women are willing to marry with heavy smokers.
