　　once upon a time. there was a house. beside the house there was a bird cage. one day a cat went to eat the bird, so the cat jumped and hit the bird cage.

　　the bird cage fell down to the ground knocking the bird cage's door open. the bird then flew away. so the cat started to chase the bird and the dog chased the cat. however the bird flew on top of the tree. so the cat started to climb the tree and the dog barked at the cat. before the cat could reach the bird, the bird flew away. this caused the cat to fall out of the tree.

　　the dog then ran away, the bird quickly flew back into his cage and the man from the house carried him safely home.

　　其實，爸爸讀書時英語也不怎么好，但為了給我補起來，，他買了英語磁帶、英語詞典，先自己學，然后給我教。首先，從最基本的英文字母a、b、c、d……開始，爸爸讀一個，我跟著讀一個，開始我覺得很難學的，特別是“i”“r”這兩個字母怎么也讀不準、分不清。后來，爸爸給我教了個辦法，小樹發(fā)芽是r，這樣我一下就分清了這兩個字母的讀音，等我會讀這些字母時，開始教我怎樣在英語本上寫，學會這些才教我學習單詞，爸爸把單詞歸了類。先教我1-10這十個數(shù)字的`讀寫，再教星期的讀寫……學單詞可比學字母又難多了，一個單詞讀上三五次也讀不準，但我們不放棄，反反復復的讀，直到讀會為止，讀會再教我背下這個單詞，爸爸要求我每天記兩個單詞。一有時間還要聽聽英語磁帶。

　　現(xiàn)在我覺的學英語不那么發(fā)愁了，而且學會了許多英語單詞。老師教過的單詞也能記下來，學過的課文也都會念了。
