Shanghai is the biggest city which lies on the east coast of China. It’s on the River Chang Jiang, too. It’s older, bigger and busier than Dalian. The buildings are taller and population is over twice larger than that of Dalian-13 million. The weather there is neither too hot nor too cold. Lots of places of interest attract visitors from other countries all the year round. I would like to work there to make more money when I grow up. It’s one of the largest trade centers in the world.

今天中午吃完飯后，媽媽送我來到了我們英語學(xué)校舉行的年度圣誕節(jié)晚會。
大約13：30的時候，我們的晚會正式開始了，我們大家都非常高興。首先，我們觀看了精彩的節(jié)目：有打架子鼓的，有彈吉他的，有跳拉丁舞的，還有打雙節(jié)棍的'，等等等等，真是精彩絕倫，賞心悅目啊!
看完精彩的節(jié)目之后，我們進行了三等獎的抽簽活動之中。悲哀，我不是那30個當(dāng)中幸運兒的其一，但是老師說，還有一等獎和二等獎。
我們休息了片刻，看了看同學(xué)變得小戲法之后，我們打二等獎抽簽活動又開始了。果然，好心不負有心人，我是10名二等獎中的得主，獲得了一個毛絨玩具。這時的我正在想，那豐富多彩的一等獎又會花落誰家呢?
接下來，我被邀請上臺做了游戲。這個游戲的名字叫做家長互換。游戲規(guī)則：10位孩子站在舞臺上，后面是自己的家長。然后，我們10位孩子蒙上眼睛，家長互相移動。1分鐘之后，必須找到自己的家長。幸好媽媽有明顯的標(biāo)志物，手里拿著手機。
所有活動結(jié)束后，我們每個人都領(lǐng)了學(xué)習(xí)大禮包。里面有各種各樣的學(xué)習(xí)文具，我們都異常的歡喜。

The following plan may reveal the intensity of my desire to travel, work and study in this vacation. In the first few days I want to climb Mount Hua Shan with several friends to refresh ourselves. Then I tend to visit relatives, senior school teachers and former classmates(àí). Besides, to find out the best ways to cultivate my abilities, I will find a part time job and conduct some social investigation.
In short, I want to do interesting things in the summer vacation. Whatever I do, the goal is the same: to get necessary experience, acquire knowledge and broaden my horizons. Though the six week vacation will pass away at lightning speed, its influence is bound to last long.
