Recently, the topic if students ought to make friends on the internet result in hot discussion in society.
On the one hand,more and more students don't have sister and brother at present. So some people think that students make friends on the internet is helpful to make more friends . In addition,it's good for opening their horizons and learn more.
On the other hand,it's easy for students to be cheated. What's more ,they don't have enough time to stay with their family.
From my point of view, I agree with the former opinion. However students had better arrange their time reasonably. So that they can make a balance between the internet and their family.

I was only nine years old when I learnt how to use a computer. My mother is my first teacher. I know how to type, how to copy a file, and how to visit a web site on the Internet. One day, mom was not at home. I turned on the computer and began to learn how to chat on net. The first one I met there was a boy called Tom. He greeted me politely. When he knew that I was only a 9-year-old girl, and almost knew nothing about chatting on net,he started showing me how to use the chatting tools, how to download, and how to send e-mails. I learnt a lot from him.

It is my opinion that students should place their study, health and safety before other, things. As for friendship, we can readily find it in our classmates and other people around us.
