Nowadays, there are more and more students becoming short-sighted. Some students get short-sightedness when they are little. There are fifteen students wearing glasses in my class. Being short-sighted is common among students, even in primary school. That is too serious. Therefore, we should protect our eyes carefully. When we are reading and writing, we should keep a standard posture. Besides, we should not watch TV or play computer for too long. They are bad for our eyes. And, we should do eyes exercises regularly. A good rest is also important to our eyes. In all, eyes are the windows of our mind. We should keep it healthy.

I have a very lucky family. There are five people in my family, my dad, mom, sister and brother.
My dad is a host of the family. He is tall and strong. He is a boss. He works very hard. He likes singing and doing sports. He is very funny. He cares about us. My mom is a boss, too. She likes planting. She is very busy every day. But she is very kind to us. We love her very much.
“ Tom, you are a naughty boy,” my mom always says. Yes, my brother Tom is really naughty. He likes sports very much. He usually makes funny of me. When I am angry every time, he always says: “ You look like a monkey!” I am even mad, but he is much happier.
My sister is a sports player. She is tall and strong. She has big eyes, small nose and mouth and two small ears. She is pretty and cute. She likes listening to music every much. “ Proud of you” is her favourite English song. She can sing very well and she even teaches me sing this song.
I am a happy girl. I like listening to music, too. like playing pingpong . I love my parents and they love me, too.

Hi， boys and girls， I am glad to be your English teacher this year. As you don't know much about me， let me first talk about myself here.
On the right you see an age-old picture of my family. Two of them have already passed away-my father and my elder （not the eldest） brother. Both of them died of cancer. My father suffered from liver cancer and was deceased in the year 1978 while my brother was killed by cancer which spread from the underside of his tongue to many other parts of his body. He left us on the 15th of April 1992 at the age of 37.
In the photo， the youngest one， sitting on the lap of the woman（my mother） was me. My younger sister was not yet born. My elder sister was seated next to my mother. She was a fat little girl at that time but now she is a middle-aged mother of two children. Her family and my mother are at present living in the U. S. A. My sister owns a Chinese-American restaurant which has been making good profits.
My eldest brother is a civil servant right now. He has been doing this job for more than 20 years. He likes this job， I guess. He has a son and a daughter. Both are working now. So， his burden as the breadwinner（one who supports the whole family） has not been so heavy recently. That's whyhe took a trip to Beijing during the last Lunar New Year Holiday.
As for me， I am 36， a school teacher and the father of a boy and a girl who are still too young to help me in anything.
Many changes have taken place over the last 35 years and things will never be the same again. No matter whether you like your family or not， think about itsome years later they won't be around you anymore. Try your best to love and forgive them. Nobody is perfect. Mother has a pair of made me feel kind of big eyes, but sometimes, this pair of big eyes is sending out the magic makes me feel inferior. Remember once, I made a mistake, mother will use big eyes staring at me, I immediately like possessed, tell the truth. Mother the biggest characteristic is: her pay so much for my father and I have no complaints.
I am a grade five student, is neither tall nor short. Listen to grandma, I inherited the advantages of mom and dad, but why I can't feel? My biggest characteristic is to love reading.
