　　今天，我正在家里讀英語單詞，竟然碰到了一個不懂的單詞，連忙翻看英語詞典查找，可是卻怎么找也找不到。媽媽看見了，對我說：“你去找鄰居大姐姐，讓她教你吧！”面對一個不是特別熟悉的大姐姐，我不知道該怎么辦，我的`前面仿佛有一片汪洋大海，不肯往前挪一步。我低下頭，靜靜地思考著，時間一分一秒地過去了。我終于鼓起勇氣拿起英語書，走到她們家門前，站了片刻，猶猶豫豫地伸出了小手，敲了敲門，開門的是大伯伯。我說：“你好！我碰到了一些不認識的英語單詞，想請教一下姐姐。”大伯伯連聲說好，請我進去。我看見大姐姐連忙說：“大姐姐你好，我有幾個英語單詞不會讀，你能教教我嗎？”姐姐放下手中的碗筷，接過我手中的英語書說：“哪幾個？”，我指了指，姐姐很流利地把這幾個單詞讀出來了，還耐心地教了我三遍。問過大姐姐后，我快速地跑回家了。媽媽雖然表揚了我，但是我臉上沒有露出一絲高興地表情。哈哈，其實我被她家養(yǎng)的狗嚇壞了，一點也高興不起來。

　　Cars and Air Pollution

　　Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

　　One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars to completely replace the traditional ones.

　　Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

　　On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

　　于是，我問他：“東怎么讀？”他答道：“west”，我倒吸了一口冷氣，又問：“北怎么讀？” “east”他毫不猶豫的答到。天啊!全顛倒了。我一時被他弄得哭笑不得。我先教表弟復習了英語26個字母，隨后，我又叫表弟給我背了一遍音標。然后我才真正的教弟弟學今天學過的單詞，我一個單詞一個單詞的`教，他一個一個的跟著學，我們倆一邊寫一邊讀，經過一番苦戰(zhàn)后，他還是沒有學會，怎么辦呢？我想起我學英語時我的老師教我的小竅門了，我就把這些小竅門教給他，我對他說：“你可以用小句子來記單詞，如：chess就可以很快的記住�！蔽艺f完后，就教他說饒口令：兩條蛇、下象棋、坐車里。他隨著我放的音樂，也跟我說了起來，后來，我又教他用這種方法記那四個詞語，他不一會就記會了。

　　在這個基礎上我又教了他down這個單詞，我跟他說：“d表示地球，因為你一往下看就是地球上的土地；o表示地球的結構是圓的，像雞蛋；wn表示無門的意思。他們連在一起就是地球像雞蛋一樣無門可進�！边@樣下來，弟弟對英語的興趣增長了許多。怎么樣，我這個小老師還不錯吧，嘻嘻！

　　When I was a child, I want to have lot of money, because I want to have many toys. If I have a lot of money, I can buy the factory which makes toys then I can have enough toys to play.

　　However, my dream changed as I growing up. At the stages of senior school and middle school, I hope I can have enough time to play but not to do so much homework. At these two stages, I was compelled to stay at classroom for most of my days; what’s more, I have to do a mass of homework after school. So at that time, I thirst for freedom.
