以 “Social Practice ”為主題寫一篇英文文章,題目自定。

六、活動形式及目的:
a)活動形式:英語散文的征集和評比。
b)活動目的:為豐富校園文化生活,以及迎接即將到來的`大學(xué)英語四、六級考試,特開展主題為英語寫作的比賽活動,以鍛煉在校大學(xué)生的英語能力,培養(yǎng)大學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的樂趣。
七、具體流程策劃:
a)提前一周張貼海報通知。
b)選手報名,在公寓樓前十字路口。
b)給參賽者一周的時間進(jìn)行英語散文的創(chuàng)作。文章以電子稿或打印稿的形式提交。電子稿發(fā)到群郵箱,打印稿安排會員進(jìn)行收取。
c)由工作人員負(fù)責(zé)整理收集稿件
d)作品由專業(yè)老師評選優(yōu)秀作品。
e)公布比賽結(jié)果并頒發(fā)證書。

一、賽事要求:
1、本次作文比賽面向所有山工藝在校大學(xué)生。
2、本次活動主題鼓勵積極向上、能夠真實體現(xiàn)大學(xué)生生活的文章。
3、字?jǐn)?shù)不限,以400字以上為佳;
4、主題鮮明,語言流暢、生活性強、內(nèi)容豐富,真實感人,意境獨到;

I have a dream
I have a dream, I hope the school dining-room can provide us better food。 I don’t think you will ask me why, I think we have the same idea!
Long long ago, I want to have lunch with Frank Liu(classmate) on Saturday。 We saw few people buy the beef noodle, so we decided to buy that。 Then we went to the counter and bought two bowls。 I was very surprised to see that there were only three small pieces of beef in my noodle and five in Frank Liu’s。 I asked the seller to give us more, but we failed。 I asked the seller three times。 At last, he gave Frank Liu two pieces。
I was shocked。 Then I began to complain about this wick world 。 I promised that I wouldn’t eat beef noodle any more。
At that time, I had that dream。
Yesterday, I went to lunch with Frank Liu again。 This time, we saw no people buy the beef noodle, it was very unusual, and so I bought one。 Too my surprised, there were more than six big pieces of beef in my noodle。 “What a lucky day!!” I said to myself。
I was very happy, because my dream had come true。 But few minutes later, I felt worried again: maybe three days later, there will be three small pieces of beef in the noodle for the second time。

Though Sunday is set aside as a day for rest, we ought to devise some .good ways of spending it.
Firstly, we should review what we have learned during the past week. "One will get something new in looking over one's old studies" Is a very wise saying. If we do not fully understand what we have been taught in the week, how can we expect to understand next week's lessons?
Secondly, to increase our knowledge, we should read on Sundays, those books,newspaper and magazines that are not in our regular curriculum. That will do us good.
The two ways of spending Sundays will surely do anyone good if he carries them out faithfully and persistently.
如何度過星期天
雖然星期天是供大家休閑娛樂的一天,但我們還是可以想出很多好辦法來度過這一天。

Grades and Ability
Do high grades imply excellent ability? Opinions vary from person to person.
Some agree that high grades reflect high intelligence and are thus indicative of ones ability. Students who do well in exams are therefore always favored in class. Others hold that grades have little to do with ones ability. They point out that some students who do not well enough in school may also make great achievements.They take Edison for example, saying that Edison was considered not clever by his primary school teacher but became a very famous inventor later.

Grades are not Everything
I don’t think grades are important. Students have different abilities and some of them can’t be measured by grades, such as creativity, abilities to communicate and act.
To start with, I wasn’t good at English and seldom got high scores on the exams. But one day, my teacher encouraged me to perform in an English play because of my good pronunciation and lively expressions. To perform well, I studied my lines many times and even dressed up like the character. While we were performing, I could hear my classmates cheering. How excited! Later, my teacher praised me for my wonderful acting and this made me more confident and interested in English.
All in all, grades can be a way to measure students’ achievements in schoolwork. However, different interests and abilities can make a students a full man.
