I liked doing things that they thought not proper enough. Only dad was on my side. He encouraged me to do what I liked. He told me to believe in myseff. He knew that I loved playing the violin, so he bought one for me and asked someone to teach me. Now I was very good at it. I once played abroad and get the third prize in a world violin contest for children.I would become an excellent violin player if I worked hard and always believed in myself.

在我們學(xué)校有了一個(gè)新規(guī)矩，那就是：每當(dāng)?shù)矫刻斓牡谝还?jié)語(yǔ)文課，前5分鐘都要進(jìn)行演講，順序是學(xué)號(hào)排的（我的學(xué)號(hào)是17）。沒(méi)想到英語(yǔ)老師舉一反三，也安排英語(yǔ)演講，順序是按坐位排的（當(dāng)時(shí)我坐在第一組）。語(yǔ)文我以經(jīng)夠煩的了，現(xiàn)在還來(lái)一個(gè)英語(yǔ)，我就更煩了！唉！我只能胡過(guò)去了。
我今天講的就是我怎么“胡”過(guò)去的。下面我就來(lái)說(shuō)說(shuō)：
在前天我感覺(jué)作業(yè)特別多，有語(yǔ)文《習(xí)字冊(cè)》、英語(yǔ)背書，其中最難的是準(zhǔn)備明天的英語(yǔ)演講。我可是一點(diǎn)也沒(méi)想呀！
首先我得想想該做主題是什么英語(yǔ)演講。是什么呢？是什么呢？是什么呢？……啊！我終于想到了那就是：笑話。想到這個(gè)主題時(shí)，我立刻想到了英語(yǔ)報(bào)上的笑話。
我立刻翻開(kāi)英語(yǔ)報(bào)查找起來(lái)。我查到了兩個(gè)笑話，一個(gè)是特別難的'，一個(gè)特別簡(jiǎn)單的。如果我選擇難的，明天的英語(yǔ)演講我就有許多單詞不會(huì)讀。如果我選擇簡(jiǎn)單的，我怕到明天的英語(yǔ)演講結(jié)束時(shí)，會(huì)有很多同學(xué)瞧不起我。怎么辦？怎么辦？怎么辦？……我有陷入沉思。最后，經(jīng)過(guò)我再三考慮，我選擇簡(jiǎn)單的。因?yàn)椴粫?huì)總比會(huì)的好，難道不是嗎？所以我以經(jīng)做好被嘲笑的準(zhǔn)備了。
新的一天開(kāi)始了！
這節(jié)英語(yǔ)課我想來(lái)的晚一些，沒(méi)想到第三節(jié)英語(yǔ)課這么快就到了！幸好這節(jié)英語(yǔ)演講沒(méi)有我想的那么糟糕。我也還加了5分（雖然是倒數(shù)第一的加分）。

I’m a student of Huayang No. 1 Middle School. In front of our school gate is a street, on both sides of which are many shops and restaurants. Every day during rush hour, especially at noon, stalls selling everyday goods and food appear on the street, which makes it terriblycrowded. First, cars and passersby have difficulty in passing through the street. Thus it makes it dangerous for the students to go in or out of school. Secondly, the street is made dirty with so many plastic bags and waste water everywhere.
A school, in my opinion, should be a place with clean and quiet surroundings. So I do hope some measures should be taken to improve the situation.
