　　whenever i have a party, hsiao-mei is always the first person i invite. she is such fun. i know that she will be able to make my other guests laugh. she does not get upset if somebody tries to tease or make fun of her, either.

　　hsiao-mei can also be very serious and can discuss almost anything you can think of. if it gets late before the party ends, i can always depend on hsiao-mei to clean up the house. she never says no, even if she is very tired and would rather go straight home to bed.

　　This morning the typhoon had already left.My grandfather and I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood.Some trees fail down,some cars were damaged and some houses were damaged,too.But my father's car,my house and my family are fine.

　　自從上了三年級(jí)，我們開始漸漸地接觸英語，而且，英語還慢慢地成了主科，我學(xué)會(huì)了學(xué)英語。在一、二年級(jí)的時(shí)候，語文數(shù)學(xué)需要考試，現(xiàn)在英語也加入到考試這個(gè)大家庭中。學(xué)英語成了一件苦差事。

　　有一天，在寫英語作業(yè)的時(shí)候，我簡(jiǎn)直要被這枯燥而又“無味”的英語給弄煩了，我開始想：記單詞這么難，難道就沒有解決的辦法了嗎？如果單詞記住了，可過了幾天又忘了那又怎么辦？我?guī)е�這兩個(gè)百思不得其解的問題去請(qǐng)教媽媽，媽媽走到我的書桌旁，看著我已經(jīng)寫了二十多遍的單詞，坐下來，語重心長(zhǎng)地對(duì)我說：“學(xué)英語要講究方法，不能急于求成，要看平時(shí)的積累。要是講到記單詞，我告訴你幾個(gè)竅門兒：

　　1、寫單詞的時(shí)候要多用心記，寫幾遍以后要‘回過頭’看看對(duì)不對(duì)，要保證寫單詞的準(zhǔn)確性。

　　2、記單詞要一邊念一邊寫，這樣可以加深對(duì)單詞的印象。
