今天，我把所有作業(yè)都做完了，閑著沒事干，便萌生出一個(gè)想法：教奶奶學(xué)英語。于是，我對奶奶說：“奶奶，我教您學(xué)英語吧？”“好！”奶奶爽快地答應(yīng)了。我遞給奶奶一張預(yù)先準(zhǔn)備好的“新生報(bào)名單”。上面寫著：“歡迎您加入花朵芬芳學(xué)校英語初級班，請?zhí)顚懩挠⑽拿帧！蹦棠桃豢葱律鷪?bào)名單就愣住了�！拔夷挠惺裁从⑽拿盅剑俊薄皼]關(guān)系，我?guī)湍 ！蔽覍δ棠陶f。
我想了一下，問奶奶“l(fā)avender,怎么樣？”
“好，好，好。”奶奶沒有經(jīng)過思考就回答著�？僧�(dāng)我問她“您叫什么英文名字呀？”她卻把剛才的lavender忘得九霄云外了。于是，教奶奶學(xué)英語就從教奶奶學(xué)讀英文名字開始了。
我不厭其煩地把lavender反復(fù)讀給奶奶聽。奶奶看著我的嘴型認(rèn)真地學(xué)著�！發(fā)a--ven--der”，可她的發(fā)音很不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
“奶奶，您的嘴巴再扁一點(diǎn)，行嗎？”“?—?—?。”我把奶奶讀的不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的地方，抽出來單獨(dú)訓(xùn)練。我記得自己學(xué)小提琴的`時(shí)候，老師一直叫我把掌握不好的地方抽出來單獨(dú)練，這樣效果很好。所以我也用這種方法教奶奶。還別說，經(jīng)過我的耐心指導(dǎo)，奶奶終于學(xué)會(huì)讀自己的英文名字了。生怕下次再遺忘，奶奶拿來紙和筆，認(rèn)真地記著筆記。
真認(rèn)真啊！我在心里默默想著，奶奶年紀(jì)這么大了，學(xué)習(xí)起來還這么認(rèn)真，真值得我學(xué)習(xí)呀。
奶奶學(xué)會(huì)了自己的英文名，我又教了奶奶一些水果類的單詞，每學(xué)一個(gè)單詞，奶奶都非常認(rèn)真。
“奶奶，今天學(xué)的單詞，我下節(jié)課要抽背的哦。”在下課前，我對奶奶提出了要求�！昂玫模視�(huì)認(rèn)真復(fù)習(xí)的�！蹦棠陶f。

different students learn english for different purposes. most of the students learn english because they need to read english textbooks or journals and attend english lectures, while a few students use it to talk to english-speaking visitors, attend seminars, or write letters and reports.
whatever the purposes are, one thing is certain: students need english, and english teaching should be strengthened in universities. however, the current teaching methods should be improved and the teaching materials should be updated to satisfy their needs.
