Some people view Halloween as a time for fun, putting on costumes, trick-or-treating, and having theme parties. Others view it as a time of superstitions, ghosts, goblins and evil spirits that should be avoided at all costs. As the Christian debate goes on, celebrating Halloween is a preference that is not always viewed as participating in an evil holiday. Halloween is often celebrated with no reference to pagan rituals or the occult.

　　One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as petrol. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. Thus, the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

　　On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

　　錢老師雖然幽默但也不失嚴(yán)厲。有一次，高雨城的英語作業(yè)寫錯本子了，錢老師知道后大發(fā)雷霆：“你怎么天天換本子，還把不把老師放在眼里？拿回去重寫，把前面的作業(yè)都補起來！”在錢老師的嚴(yán)厲訓(xùn)斥下，高雨城低下了頭，乖乖動筆寫了起來。
