一天夜晚，燈光下媽媽在家里邊做玩具，邊看著新聞。我在書(shū)房里看書(shū)。突然，媽媽叫著：“穎兒，快來(lái)看！這新聞上的工人在和外國(guó)人說(shuō)著什么？”我跑出來(lái)一看，只見(jiàn)電視上正在播放著一群外國(guó)人在參觀一個(gè)玩具公司，一個(gè)外國(guó)人正在和一位工人用英語(yǔ)在交談著的新聞。
“媽媽?zhuān)覄傞_(kāi)始學(xué)的.也聽(tīng)不明白，不過(guò)播音員不是解釋著嗎？”我搖搖頭說(shuō)。
“快看，這工人最后說(shuō)的Goodbye（再見(jiàn)）是什么意思？”
“那是再見(jiàn)的意思。您不也初中畢業(yè)嗎？您怎么聽(tīng)不懂英語(yǔ)呢？”
“哎，別提了，那時(shí)我學(xué)習(xí)很不認(rèn)真，成天只知道玩，現(xiàn)在后悔也來(lái)不及了�！眿寢屔钋榈赝送�，“穎兒，你一定要好好學(xué)習(xí)呀，不能像媽媽這樣一無(wú)所長(zhǎng)呀�！�
媽媽望了望電視，自言自語(yǔ)地說(shuō)：“唉，要是我也會(huì)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)那該多好��！……”
我安慰道：“媽?zhuān)瑳](méi)關(guān)系的。不如我來(lái)教你學(xué)英語(yǔ)吧，怎么樣？等奧運(yùn)會(huì)辦完后許多外國(guó)人肯定會(huì)到胡適故居來(lái)參觀的，說(shuō)不定還會(huì)到您的工廠去玩呢！”
“真的嗎？那好哇，我就跟你學(xué)英語(yǔ)，說(shuō)不上我將來(lái)也能跟外國(guó)人聊上幾句�！眿寢尭吲d地說(shuō)。
從那天起，每天晚上，你只要經(jīng)過(guò)我的家門(mén)口，那你一定會(huì)經(jīng)常聽(tīng)到一個(gè)小女孩在讀著英語(yǔ)：Whattimeisit？（幾點(diǎn)了），It’seighto’clock.（八點(diǎn)了）。還有一個(gè)婦女也跟著讀，這就是我和我的媽媽在讀英語(yǔ)。

August 5 was a special day. It was my eighteenth birthday, on the way to become an adult. I didn’t go out with my relatives as usual, I went to Zhejiang Daily Newspaper Building to experience how an editor of Zhejiang Online Website worked. In the morning, we visited many offices, chatted with Wang Zhidong, the former CEO of Sina, and we tried to edit a report and send it to the Internet. We also had a debate about whether kids’being on-line was good. I stood on the positive side. That was, we should get on-line, to learn, to relax, to shop, to play, to make friends, and to name just a few. We took some pictures to accept as a souvenir. We had lunch there and watched movies afterwards. Spiderman II was truly realistic. We were fascinated by the cool actions, scared by the ugly beast,and encouraged by the brave hero. Then we saw part of Detective Conan, a Japanese cartoon film. In the afternoon, we took a bus to a building where the governors worked to interview a grandpa, who used to work for the young generation. He is kind, and healthy, though he is over eighty. He loves working, especially working for the youth. He feels more energetic as he talks with kids. At last, he asked us to sing a song for him. We sent a boy on behalf of us all to sing a happy song. He didn’t disappoint us, making everyone present laugh for a while. When the interview ended, we headed back to the newspaper office.The leader handed each of us a diploma and the photos we took that morning. Good time passed quickly. We said good-bye to each other, and then we parted. Yeah, we’ve become friends though we haven’t known each other very long. In a word, that was a meaningful enjoyable day. I really had great fun.

What we love most is the time we enjoy the full moon together. With the beautiful moon up in the sky, we sit together and eat moon cakes and fruit, sharing our stories. on saturday, we went camping, with our teachers.
first we pitched the tent. then our older brothers and older sisters played game with us. at noon, we all had a delicious lunch followed by a barbecue for dinner. at night, we had bonfire and sang and danced. we didn’t sleep until 10:20 at night. but some of the boys were so noisy we couldnt fall alseep. i only slept for three hours. the net morning, everybody woke up very early. after eercising in the morning, we all went to see the small pigs. on the way there, we saw a lot of geese. at 10:00, we went back to eat ice cream. it was so cold. then, we all played games together. we ate lunch at 12:00.
in the afternoon, we played musical instruments and sang. after that, camp was over. we had a lot of fun at the summer camp. i am looking forward o going to another summer camp soon.

They live in groups. These groups are called colonies.
In a nest they are three types of ants. The most important ant in a clory is Queen. She is the only female which is lay eggs. She is larger then most of the ants. She has to be fed by other ants. She lives in a special chamber.
Then,there are worker ants. These ants build and repair the nest. They also collect food and look after the larvae.
The nest has to be proctected. It is the duty of the soldier ants to fight with enemies. These enemies may invade the nest. Soldier ants have strong jaws.
