I went to Hainan Island with my parents for a holiday and we stayed therefor a week. It took us only more than three hours to get to Haikou airport. We enjoyed the warm sunshine and the soft wind. We walked on the beach and picked up the beautiful shells. We also surfed on the waves and it was really exciting. We played ball games on the beach as well. I believed Hainan was really an attractive city with famous beach and mountains. We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Hainan.

1.How I Spent My Summer Vacation
The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had plan ned.

2.My summer vacation
My summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable. I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays. It is very beautiful there. There are green plants, clear rivers, lovely animals and kind people. I spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there. I wrote down what happened in my diary every day.
Besides that, I helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. I helped them read English and improve their spoken English. Their parents thanked me for this.

書籍使我快樂(lè)。由于爸爸媽媽的工作較忙，沒(méi)有時(shí)間帶我去旅游。我只好在家里沉醉在那些美麗的文字中，從六年級(jí)的輔導(dǎo)書中，我仿佛看到了調(diào)皮的索溪，美麗的山雨……我完全沉醉在里面了。在這里，我學(xué)到了做人的道理。是書籍讓我在暑假中不感到孤單的。
做家務(wù)使我快樂(lè)。一天，爸爸和媽媽剛走，我看到又臟而又亂的家，就想到了一個(gè)好主意。我先把桌子收拾好，再把碗刷好。然后再拿抹布把家具上的灰塵擦了擦。再呢就是掃地了，掃完地后，我又拿起抹布來(lái)擦地了，這擦地也是有竅門的：1擦地是要有次序，一個(gè)磚塊一個(gè)磚塊地擦，這樣就不會(huì)有沒(méi)擦的`地方了。2要先擦前再擦后，這樣就不會(huì)踩到自己擦過(guò)的地方了。3有時(shí)，有些東西很難擦掉，這就要用我的方法了。先把手放在胸前的下方，然后前腿弓后腿蹬，最后再把手上的抹布向前一推，地上就干凈多了。我再也不是以前那個(gè)嬌氣的小公主了。今天，我感到了勞動(dòng)的快樂(lè)。
