Aesop and the Traveler
In ancient Greece there once lived a clever man.His name was Aesop.
One day,when Aesop was taking a walk in the country,a traveler stopped him and said,"Kind sir,can you tell me how soon I can get to town?"
"Go."Aesop answered.
"I know I must go,"said the traveler,"But I want to know how soon I can get to town."
"Go."Aesop shouted to him.
The traveler was very angry."This man must be mad,"he thought.And he walked away.
Suddenly he heard Aesop shouting to him,"You will get to town in two hours."
The traveler was greatly surprised.He turned back and ask-ed,"Why didn't you tell me that before?”
"How could I have told you that before?"answered Aesop,"I didn't know how fast you could walk."

So he took the ass home, and put him into the stable with the other asses. The new ass looked around, and immediately went to choose a place next to the laziest ass in the stable.

哇！老爸真厲害，看來這英語我是教定了！很有“天賦”呢！終于有個單詞老爸，“猜錯讀音了�！笔恰绽邸皇恰斩鳌�。再讀一遍，‘普累’。我像位老師一樣嚴格地糾正老爸的錯誤讀者。就這樣，報的速度比平時慢了一倍，因為不光寫，還得一遍遍糾正讀音。許多天后、、、、、、“老爸！這次要寫句子！”老爸聞聲，慢慢悠悠地晃了過來，面露難色，極不情愿地拿起我的英語書，用一口不標準，不流利的英語給我報了起來。
天！我起訴！本來超簡單的英語句子，經老爸嘴里一說，恐怕連老外也聽不懂了！我憑自己“非凡”的理解能力，艱難地寫完了英語作業(yè)。接著，我抱著英語書，給老爸來了次突擊補習。從第一單元到第三單元的單詞和letstake中的'黑體句子全部一個不落地教起來。這下，老爸慘了，叫苦連天，可我還是不依不饒地教下去。直到該上床睡覺了，才肯放過老爸。

上課了，進來了兩個女老師。爸爸告訴我，那個金發(fā)碧眼個子很高的便是老外，旁邊那個是中國老師，她是老外的助教，在課堂教學中幫助老外和我們溝通。老外不會說中文，她首先用英語作了自我介紹，接著教我們每個人都用英語說“mynameis……”。那天老外上課的主要內容是人的五官和身體的'主要部位，她將這些單詞用圖形掛在黑板上，并要求我們每個人走到講臺上和她一起邊做動作邊讀。開始，我有些讀音發(fā)不準，但老外一點都不煩，她耐心地教我很多遍，直到我讀準確為止。當同學們讀會這些單詞后，老外把我們全都叫到講臺上，圍成一個圈，由她指著自己身體的部位讀，如果對了，我們也用手指著自己身體同樣的部位跟著讀；如果錯了，看我們誰反應快，糾正老外的“錯誤”。這個游戲很好玩，同學們都踴躍參與，課堂氣氛很濃。游戲結束后，老外還興致勃勃地教我們學唱英文歌……
