Last year’s Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals. On New Year’s Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious. On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought some Jay’s CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year. On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. 老北京的春節(jié)廟會
春節(jié)，俗稱過年，除一般年俗外，廟會則為舊時北京過年的主要習(xí)俗。除了人們所熟悉的廠甸之外，五顯財神廟(初二至十六)、東岳廟(初一至十五)、白云觀(初一至十九)都是有名的廟會，最富有北京過年的特色。
五顯財神廟的正式活動從正月初二算起。初二一大清早，往財神廟進(jìn)香者，除巨富顯貴外，絕大多數(shù)是騎自行車。他們多身著各種綢緞的.棉袍，外罩馬褂或坎肩，頭戴細(xì)氈禮帽。香客們從城里出發(fā)出廣安門向南，當(dāng)然基本順風(fēng)，(因北京冬季多西北)。但一出廣安門就須逆風(fēng)而行了。
紙魚，用一根竹劈兒綴上白線拴好，以便手提;還有成串的、泥胎、外糊金銀箔的金銀元寶，也拴在竹劈兒上。另外還有一種卜碌碌帶響的風(fēng)車。這種風(fēng)車系用細(xì)篾兒和彩紙條兒糊成風(fēng)輪，安裝在秫秸架子上，每個風(fēng)輪帶有白線拴好的一對小鼓腿兒，敲打著一個泥塑蒙紙面的小鼓，大風(fēng)一刮，卜碌碌直響。
