　　爺爺平時(shí)最喜歡打麻將。每一天，除了吃飯、睡覺(jué)外，爺爺都會(huì)在小區(qū)的老人之家打麻將。在家看不見(jiàn)爺爺，在麻將館總能找到他。可這幾天，我爺爺沒(méi)去打麻將，但早出晚歸，一天都不見(jiàn)到蹤影。

　　有人說(shuō)：“去打麻將了�！�

　　有人說(shuō)：“去唱歌了�！�

　　可有人說(shuō)：“去學(xué)英語(yǔ)了。”

　　我想前兩個(gè)都可能而第三個(gè)絕對(duì)不可能，因?yàn)闋敔攺膩?lái)未學(xué)過(guò)英語(yǔ)。我把我聽(tīng)說(shuō)的事，和我的想法都告訴了我奶奶，奶奶和我的想法一樣。

　　一天，爺爺從外面回來(lái)，奶奶大聲對(duì)爺爺說(shuō)：“你這個(gè)死老頭，又到哪鬼混去了�！�

　　爺爺嬉皮笑臉地說(shuō)：“保密�！�

　　我和奶奶互相看了一眼，都認(rèn)為爺爺這么神秘，肯定不是什么好事。于是我對(duì)爺爺產(chǎn)生了不好的.看法，平常爺爺都跟我一起玩，但爺爺現(xiàn)在找我玩，我都不理他，氣沖沖地就走了。

　　那次媽媽要我送魚給奶奶，可是奶奶不在家。沒(méi)辦法，我只好把魚交給爺爺，我也沒(méi)象以前那樣和爺爺玩一會(huì)，只和爺爺打聲招呼就回家了。才走出幾步就看見(jiàn)爺爺進(jìn)了對(duì)門王叔叔家。我很奇怪，爺爺去王叔叔家干什么，這個(gè)時(shí)間他應(yīng)該去麻將館呀！我?guī)е�疑惑跟在爺爺后面，進(jìn)到王叔叔家，只看見(jiàn)王叔叔正拿著英語(yǔ)書在教爺爺讀英語(yǔ)。這下，我什么都明白了。

　　我一反沖上去說(shuō)：“爺爺，我不該這樣對(duì)你�！�

　　于是我把這幾天的事情告訴了爺爺，爺爺大笑說(shuō)：“傻孩子，有句俗話說(shuō)得好——活到老學(xué)到老，如果我天天沉迷在麻將之中還得了��！于是就讓王叔叔教我學(xué)英語(yǔ)了。”

　　這件事一傳十，十傳百，百傳千，這一個(gè)小區(qū)都知道了。

　　你說(shuō)這件事新不新鮮，就連我愛(ài)打麻將的爺爺都學(xué)上了英語(yǔ)。

　　I saw your advertisement on the Internet and am very interested in working on your farm.

　　I＇m a student and need more practice with my English. I was hoping to come to Great Britain but didn＇t want to ask my parents for money. Working for you would be an ideal solution.

　　I＇m 18 years old and very fit. Although I＇ve never worked on a farm before I have helped on a building site and am used to working hard. I＇m very fond of animals and would be happy to help with the cows and sheep if needed.

　　Could you please let me know how long you would want me for, how many hours a day, and what the minimum wages per hour would be I would like to know if there will be other students there too and where I will be sleeping.

　　I enclose a photo as requested. My last employer will be happy to write me a reference, if you so wish.

　　Then in the classroom I found that I brought a wrong test book and no pen.When I was eating my lunch I found the rice taste sour and there was a worm in my apple.In the afternoon my stomach felt strange.It must be the sour rice.How could this be!

　　Finally when I got home everything became much better.My stomach was fine and my mother prepared a delicious dinner for me.After dinner I had a nice hot bath.Right now I felt great.I hope everything can be fine tomorrow.
